26 Nov 2024
With over a decade of experience in sales, management, and entrepreneurship, Bingi brings a wealth of knowledge to inspire and mentor our business students

Bingi's journey began in sales, where she honed her strategy and relationship-building skills. She later pursued entrepreneurship with her business, Art by Dangana, which promotes African cultural representation. Her diverse background, combined with an MBA from Canada, positions her perfectly to guide students in developing strategic thinking and confidence.

Born and raised in Nigeria, Bingi's journey brought her to Canada, where she pursued an MBA. The experience broadened her perspective, deepening her appreciation for the diverse business environments that shape today's global landscape. Now, as an Executive in Residence, she is eager to share her journey with 正品蓝导航's business and entrepreneurship students, empowering them to think strategically and confidently about their careers.

When asked what attracted her to this role, Bingi emphasized 正品蓝导航's commitment to fostering well-rounded, socially conscious students. "I'm particularly inspired by the university's emphasis on global awareness and diversity," she shared. "These values align deeply with my work through Art by Dangana, where I aim to promote cultural appreciation and education."

Bingi sees 正品蓝导航 as a place where she can integrate her passion for cultural representation with her dedication to student mentorship. "The opportunity to help students connect their professional goals with a broader societal impact is enriching," she added. "I look forward to encouraging students to embrace diversity as a strength and to explore how their unique backgrounds can drive innovation."

She aims to help students connect their career goals with broader societal impact through hands-on workshops, mentorship, and open discussions.

"We are excited to welcome Alheri Bingi as our new Executive in Residence. Her impressive sales, entrepreneurship, and cultural advocacy background aligns perfectly with our mission at the Ron Joyce Centre for Business Studies. Bingi's passion for mentorship and her commitment to promoting diversity will be invaluable in helping our students develop the confidence and skills needed to succeed in today's global business landscape," says Charline Kelly, Coordinator of the Ron Joyce Centre for Business Studies at 正品蓝导航.

Her upcoming initiatives include Personal Leadership Workshops and Confidence-Building Clinics to develop essential soft skills. Bingi is excited to empower students to embrace their unique strengths, foster resilience, and build fulfilling careers. .==

Her advice to students is to "Focus on self-awareness, adaptability, and continuous learning. Embrace challenges as growth opportunities, and don't hesitate to step outside your comfort zone."
