THE DARK: a procession of music and light

Illuminated by lanterns and premiering an original choral composition, this open-air staging of a local poem takes us out into the night of the salt marshes to meditate on our emplacement and mortality. Join us for a series of public lantern building workshops followed by a procession through Sackville Waterfowl Park and ending in a performance of song and puppetry.
Featuring: music by Hope Salmonson, poem by Keagan Hawthorne and the Elliott Chorale.
Public lantern workshops: October 26th & 27th, 10am – 2pm at the Purdy Crawford Centre for the Arts.
