The 正品蓝导航 Career & Grad School Fair offers students the opportunity to explore a variety of employers and post-graduate institutions, no matter what degree program you're in. All students from all years/degree programs are encouraged to attend this annual fair to chat and learn more about summer, full-time and post-graduate opportunities! We look forward to welcoming employers to campus to connect with students. 
The fair is scheduled for Wednesday, October 9th, 2024 from 11am-3pm, and will take place at Gracie's! Dress to impress, and drop by our Photo Booth for a free professional headshot.

Understanding Your Student Loans

In this virtual workshop, Marc will talk about what happens when your student loans roll over to repayment after graduation. Topics will include provincial/territory interest rates, how to adjust the amount paid each month, as well as how to apply for delays in repayment for those furthering education beyond post-graduate studies or still securing employment. The first Tuesday Talks with Rivers of Winter 2022 is coming up fast!

We are thrilled to welcome Gene Fowler, founder and cartoonist of Loogaroo on January 11, 2022 from 6-7PM via Teams! Loogaroo describes itself as a "boutique animation agency" known for its work on websites, e-learning, mobile games, animated shorts, and TV shows. They've worked with a wide range of brands, such as Pepsi, Teletoon, and CBC. Gene is well-known in his field as a pioneer of 2D digital animation, and his ability to bring together clients with a creative team that can make their ideas into reality in amazing and creative ways.

As it says on their website, "Huddle [Today] is a Maritime business publication that tells the stories of the creative, innovative, and interesting entrepreneurs working in the Maritimes."  Operating under a broad definition of entrepreneurship, Huddle is dedicated to creating a positive dialogue around and promoting business in the region. Acadia Broadcasting owns and operates 15 radio stations across Atlantic Canada and Ontario, and traces its roots back to CFBO, the first commercial radio station established in Saint John, which was founded in 1928.

After working in a call centre, Claudine and her husband, Bruce, decided to pursue their passions of helping others and, in 2001, founded their own company, Simply For Life, in Saint John, NB. Since starting their business in their basement, it has grown well beyond Atlantic Canada with more than 40 locations across the country. Despite having to switch up how they deliver services during the pandemic, Claudine and her team have worked hard to stay connected with their customers while making plans for the future.

Since founding Millennia Tea after a health scare in their family, Tracy and her partner, Rory, have been on a mission to change the global tea industry by flash-freezing tea leaves, as opposed to using the traditional drying methods. They have also appeared on the popular TV show Dragon's Den and have won a number of awards, including most recently Sobey's Local Innovation Award in 2021.

Join us in the Elevate Program with welcoming Shakira Weatherdon of Chrysalis Human Rights Agency for an intensive hands-on cultural competency workshop on equity, diversity and inclusion.
In this session, participants will examine equity, diversity and inclusion in the workplace through the lens of an employer and employee, what it means for team leaders and managers, including conflict management, communication skills, and team building.

Contemporary issues related to equity-seeking communities will also be explored in this session. This session explores what equity, diversity, and inclusion look like inside and outside of the workplace, and how we can transform today鈥檚 world for a better tomorrow.
